Production Manager

Main Mission:

Manage and supervise all production operations within the workshop, ensuring objectives are met while adhering to established quality, safety, and efficiency standards.

Main Duties:

  • Develop and validate production plans based on orders and company objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze regular production performance reports and propose improvement actions.
  • Ensure the implementation of corrective, preventive, and improvement actions related to the production process.
  • Ensure compliance with production deadlines.
  • Supervise, train, and develop the skills of operators.

 

Required Profile:

  • Degree in textile engineering, production management, industrial management, or equivalent.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Significant experience (often a minimum of 5 years) in a similar position within a clothing company.
  • Strong inter-departmental planning and coordination skills (methods, maintenance, quality, logistics).

Cutting Manager

Main objective:

As the Cutting Room Manager, your role will be to supervise and manage the entire fabric cutting process. You will ensure the optimal use of materials to support production and guarantee that finished products meet established quality, performance, and safety standards.

Main responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage human and material resources, ensuring their availability to meet production needs.
  • Plan and organize cutting activities based on production requirements, maximizing fabric utilization and minimizing waste.
  • Monitor and ensure strict adherence to quality and safety standards throughout the process.
  • Develop team skills by identifying training needs and implementing appropriate internal training programs.
  • Track and analyze performance indicators, lead team meetings, and actively contribute to problem-solving in collaboration with other departments.

Required profile:

  • Degree in fashion design, textiles, production management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in a textile cutting room or in managing a production team.
  • Experience in planning and tracking cutting orders.
  • Strong communication skills with other departments (pattern making, production, quality control).

Quality Controls Officers

Main responsibilities:

  • Perform quality control checks during production and on finished products.
  • Ensure that products comply with standards and customer requirements.
  • Identify and report manufacturing defects (cutting, stitching, finishing, accessories, etc.).
  • Collaborate with team leaders and production staff to correct any identified issues.
  • Prepare quality control reports and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile:

  • Bachelor's degree (3-year university program) in fashion design, textiles, quality assurance, or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of garment manufacturing processes (cutting, sewing, ironing, packaging).
  • Previous experience in a similar role (quality control in the garment or textile industry) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with quality control techniques in the textile industry (measurement, visual inspection, compliance testing).

Methodology Specialist

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop product assembly processes, ensuring adherence to the sequence of operations and the time allocated for each task.
  • Oversee the launch and ongoing monitoring of new product models, in coordination with the relevant departments.
  • Resolve any technical or organizational issues that arise on the production line.
  • Continuously monitor production and identify the workstations responsible for any stoppages or disruptions in the production flow.
  • Ensure work-flow balance on the production line: distribute workloads evenly among workstations, based on the manufacturing process and the operators' performance.

Required qualifications:

  • Degree in industrial engineering, textile/apparel engineering, or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of garment manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of production line balancing and production monitoring methods.
  • Proficiency in developing work procedures and standard operating times.
  • Availability and responsiveness to production emergencies.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role (methods engineering, production line balancing, industrialization technician) in the textile or apparel industry is a plus.
